Mirror Fragment (Flat Corner)

Drywall, Floorboards, Moulding, House Paint.

This work presents a familiar architectural corner that appears to occupy the surface of a mirror. Constructed from drywall, floorboards, and moulding, the reflected corner is not an image but a fabricated fragment of architecture relocated into the frame. The work disrupts the expected relationship between object and reflection, collapsing distinctions between physical space and representation. What initially reads as a conventional mirror gradually reveals itself as a material intervention, prompting viewers to reconsider how they orient themselves within the surrounding environment. Familiar space becomes subtly unstable, drawing attention to the processes through which perception constructs experience.
